Re: 1911 thread
Speaking of 1911s, anyone know anything about the Rock Island Armory 1911s? Read a decent review and the prices seem fair.
Unrelated to 1911s, but if anyone knows much about the CZ75B, I'd like to hear that, too.

I have both
The RIA tacticool is awesome for the price range if you are looking into an entry level 1911. I replaced the standard blade with a Dawson Precision fiber optic front sight and I am running CMC 10 rounders.
The CZ, imo, is one of the best double stack 9mms ever. The way it points and handles is the best I have experienced. Everyone else that I have let shoot my pistol agrees with my opinion. Pretty damn accurate. I put about 100 rounds in a tennis ball sized hole at 12 yards. If i took my time to shoot, I am certain my groupings would have been smaller.

Re: 1911 thread
I second his positive opinion towards the CZ-75b. For the most part it's a Browning Hi-Power with a double-action trigger and a decocking safety, so it combines the best aspects of the two best pistols of the WWII era.turkeyhandle wrote:I have both
