study I'm doing a report (don't ask) on what is the best rifle for recreational shooting (I know it's pretty general). I've decided to start out by covering what attributes are important in recreational rifles (don't be afraid to give suggestions you think are obvious). We can also discuss the merits of different rifles in these terms. study

I'd say low recoil/report would be a pretty big attribute.

and cost/availability of ammunition. most recreational shooters aren't reloaders.
